Bamford currently lives on the stolen territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations (known as Vancouver, BC). A light lyric soprano, Bamford’s voice has been described as, “crystal clear, a talent likely to watch for” (Vancouver Scape).

She completed her Bachelors of Music in Opera Performance at the University of British Columbia, and her Masters in Music at the University of Ottawa under the instruction of soprano Christiane Riel. A dynamic and versatile performer, her professional credits include Monica in The Medium (OperOttawa), Laurey in Oklahoma! (Opera NUOVA), and Emmie in Albert Herring (Vancouver Opera). Bamford also performed with Disney Cruise Line, touring the Caribbean in 2019. A lover of contemporary music, she also enjoys performing new works by Canadian composers.

Bamford is a passionate music educator. Through her dedicated and encouraging mentorship, she empowers singers of all ages and levels to grow their voice to its fullest potential. In her free-time, Bamford loves hiking, cycling, swimming, and exploring the West Coast. She looks forward to her next backpacking trip on Vancouver Island!
